From slow, grounding breakfasts to vibrant shared lunches and cosy evening dinners, you’ll be served eight nourishing meals, each cooked with love and led by the season.
All meals are prepared by Tee, our wild food chef, who brings together locally sourced ingredients and foraged plants to create dishes that feel as good as they taste - food rooted in the land that holds us.We eat together, communally and unhurriedly, so every meal becomes part of the retreat itself: connection, conversation, and nourishment beyond the plate.
On our final night, we gather for a Springtime Feast - a celebratory meal infused with colour, abundance, herbs, flowers, and the joy of arriving in the season of light.
A moment to honour the land, each other, and the magic of sharing food around a table. -
You’ll be staying in one of four beautifully restored barns, each with its own kitchen and cosy spaces to unwind.
Every bedroom has a private ensuite bathroom, so whether you choose a single room or a shared twin, you’ll have your own space to settle in.You can come solo and enjoy the quiet of a single room,
or choose a shared twin room, either with a friend or gently paired with another guest - a lovely way to arrive in community from the very beginning.Cosy beds, soft bedding, warm light, and room to breathe: a simple, grounding place to rest between days full of nourishment.
-
A gentle wander through the land, guided by Tee & Andrea to meet the edible and medicinal plants of the season.
We’ll explore how to identify, harvest, and work with wild plants safely and respectfully, while also learning their folklore, stories, and traditional uses. This is about rekindling our relationship with the land, opening your senses, slowing your pace, and remembering the quiet abundance growing all around us.
Along the way, we’ll also look at simple ways to prepare, preserve, and cook with the plants we meet - from wild teas and syrups to infusions, ferments, and everyday kitchen use, so the learning can continue long after the walk ends.
You’ll leave not just with knowledge, but with a deeper way of seeing nature - one that follows you home into your walks, your meals, and your seasons.
-
Step into spring’s awakening energy and discover how to use seasonal wild treasure.
This immersive workshop invites you to explore the healing qualities of spring foraged wild greens and flowers, learning how to transform them into natural remedies to support renewal, cleansing and wellbeing.
You’ll learn how to:
🍃 Create your own wild tea blend - combining foraged greens and blossoms into a nourishing, balancing infusion.
🫖 Create your own healing brew - as we talk about the medicinal uses of each plant.
🌱 Learn how to make a refreshing detox tonic - a simple yet powerful spring elixir to cleanse and revitalise after winter’s slower months.
🌼 Craft your own tincture - a concentrated herbal extract preserving the potency of the season, using hedgerow blossom.
This hands-on workshop will deepen a connection with the land, the season, and traditional herbal practices. You’ll leave with your own handcrafted wild remedies, a deeper knowledge of the plants around you, and a renewed sense of vitality inspired by spring’s growth 💚

Join Sasha as we explore how to live in rhythm with nature’s cycles and our own inner seasons.
The medicine wheel, our inner cycles, and the cycles of nature are intrinsically linked - they hold timeless wisdom about how to live in harmony and balance. Together, we’ll explore how you use your energy and what the elements and seasons are asking of you at this moment in your life.
Through gentle reflection and shared experience, we’ll deepen your connection to the wheel of the year, uncovering how each turn of the seasons mirrors your own energy and emotions.
This is an open invitation to listen, notice, and reconnect with the natural flow that already lives within you.

Last year at Rooted, we worked with the magic of Mugwort. This year, our ally will be Hawthorn - a tree of deep heart medicine and ancient wisdom.
Hawthorn is woven with the energy of Beltane, which arrives just days after our retreat. It’s a time of renewal, fertility, and blossoming - a celebration of love, self-love, beauty, and protection. I often think of Hawthorn as our native cacao, gently helping us open to the heart’s truth and connect more deeply to ourselves and to life.
We’ll journey with the spirit of this majestic tree to discover what personal wisdom it wishes to share with you.
-
Over the retreat, we’ll move through a tender rhythm of yoga to gently wake the body, soften the edges, and support deep rest.
You’ll be invited into two playful, uplifting morning flows to spark warmth and ease into the day, and three bedtime Yoga Nidra practices, each one a nature-rooted journey into deep, dreamy rest - the kind that drifts you toward sleep.
All sessions are soft, invitational, and mostly floor-based, welcoming every body just as it is - no flexibility, strength, or previous experience needed.
Simply arrive as you are, that will always be enough. -
A spacious, body-led workshop where we slow down enough to notice what is asking to soften.
Through gentle movement, stillness and sensory awareness, we’ll explore how the body speaks, where it holds tension, and what it needs in order to feel safe enough to truly rest. You’ll also be offered simple practices you can bring home with you: ways to unwind the nervous system, ground yourself when life feels fast, and return to softness whenever you need it.
A quiet invitation to come back to the body - and let the body come back to you.

…where creativity meets the essence of nature.
Join Tee and step into the enchantment of spring with The Wildflower Heart, a playful and immersive chocolate workshop.
We will celebrate wildflowers and the heart-opening qualities of hawthorn through chocolate making, and wild flavour play, exploring how edible blossoms and wild botanicals can be transformed into exquisite truffles and floral confections - a creative meeting of nature, flavour, and craft.
Guided by the heart medicine of hawthorn and the delicate energies of wild botanicals, you’ll learn to temper chocolate and craft decadent ganaches infused with wild flavours and aromas.
Explore the sacred and the sensual as you create truffles scented with hawthorn, sweet violet, rose, and dandelion - each one a small spell of heart-opening magic.
This hands on, immersive workshop will be a journey through flavour, fragrance, and the whispers of the wild, culminating in beautifully handcrafted chocolates.
You will leave, confident in your new skills, and ready to continue weaving the enchantment of nature into every chocolate creation.
